My name is Jason and I post random shit, occasionally... Also every now and then I may grace this blog with something political or something that deals with society. Got a question? Ask.

so apparently an arm can sell on the black market for $885, ($500 for the shoulder plus $385 for the hand an forearm)

and a leg can sell for $500 (at least thats the lowest price of an albino leg so im guessing here)

So when someone says “That’ll cost an arm ad a leg” they are roughly asking for $1,335

which is less than i would have guessed.

i didn’t spend this much time researching the cost of limbs on the black market for one note

my social studies teacher once told us “human beings are the most selfish of all. even when someone dies, you shed tears only because they are no more around to provide you with whatever they had been for so long”

and it has been 3 years since she said this and this is still what i think about at night

Say hello to mechanically separated chicken. It’s what all fast-food chicken is made from—things like chicken nuggets and patties. Also, the processed frozen chicken in the stores is made from it.Basically, the entire chicken is smashed and pressed through a sieve—bones, eyes, guts, and all. it comes out looking like this. There’s more: because it’s crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color. But, hey, at least it tastes good, right?High five, America!

tumblr we are not fucking doing this right now take a day off

Tumblr.

GO SIT IN THE CORNER AND THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU’RE DOING.

Okay listen up! I don’t do this often, I understand that white people have a lot of privilege and I understand racism is a problem and I understand. I do. But shut the hell up. You can go on like that if you think that Robin Williams work never effected a person of a different race. Tell me little kids of every race never laughed at Flubber or Jumanji. Tell me that people of every color never thought or said that Genie was the funniest character in Aladdin. Tell me that no one of color was touched by his performance in Good Will Hunting or Dead Poets Society. If you can tell me that then you can go on about his death being white privilege. But you can’t tell me that so shut the hell up.

If you cannot respect the years he gave to touching lives and making people laugh with his talent than I can’t respect you. If you can’t respect his ability to make others laugh and make himself laugh and if you can’t respect him and his talent despite his race then you are the problem. Let me repeat that. If you cannot respect him because he just so happened to be white then you are part of the problem.

Shut up and take a day off Tumblr.

Put it into words better than I could.
Seriously Tumblr social justice brats. Sit down and shut the fuck up. A great man, a wonderful comedian, and icon of my god damn childhood is dead today. I think its only right that one damn thing on this site remains untainted by bullshit please and thank you.

If anything comes from Robin Williams’ death, I hope it brings more awareness to depression. Even someone so outwardly upbeat and full of life can succumb to depression.

Did you know: Chris Evans gets panic attacks. Yes, he does. This is one reason why he’s very private and didn’t really do any meet-and-greets on the Avengers’ sets.

It amazes and inspired me that a man who does what he does can do it, even with an anxiety disorder. You go, Chris.

This is why I get so upset when I hear negative comments about Chris and how he doesn’t seem as out-going as the rest of the Avengers cast. I remember hearing people complain about how he’s ‘rude’ and the like and it’s sad, because I highly doubt he intends to come off that way, he’s just more reserved than the others.

I remember hearing once that he actually went to seek psychiatric help before accepting the role of Captain America because of how anxious he felt regarding it. As well as the fact that he already played another Marvel superhero and he was concerned how comic fans would react to his playing another hero in that universe.

Just because someone’s in the entertainment industry doesn’t mean they’re going to be incredibly outgoing off camera just as much as they appear to be on camera. Some people just really enjoy acting; they’re not the characters they portray nor are they like their costars nor are they going to be incredibly outgoing because of their choice of career.

Now I’m really starting to root for this guy. Because, well. I kind of get the point more accurately than I wish I did.
